Nice work, but I strongly advice to use more color-variation in the face, suggesting green more than being green. Now it becomes too flat optically. Adding colored reflection lights might work. That's easy to integrate because it looks like a wet environment he is in, which creates the opportunity to have moist skin reflect backlighting.

I agree with Artoonator's suggestion of adding more color. Not to veer away from green but to suggest green as he stated. I like the lighting that you used, really shows how you use your photographic mind for the benefit of your art.

Robert, I really enjoy this. You made a lot of progress from the wip you showed me only a little bit earlier. My only suggestion would be to do something with the dark spot on the top right corner. Also maybe add more detail to the branch, it seems it only has detail between its hand and foot where it grasps the limb, and otherwise becomes a slur of browns. Other than that this rocks, I really like the stripes on the pigmy apefrog.

It's such a great portrait that creates depth to such a simple character. I'm not sure if it's cute yet, or incredibly vicious...I love your style, though for some reason I think his skin would reflect light a little more and appear wet, like a frog. Not like it even matters though, because this is an awesome idea
