Man I would like to visit that expo ... :( I love the design so far. I don't see anytihng that needs improvement.

You need to put a few px more black at the top.Its unsettling having text that close to the edge. perhaps an email addy in small print. As a design it works very well. Nothing to crit at all.

I think the basic concept is ok, but the typography in the black outline can also be placed in the top of the image, outside of the frame. Your name is too close to the lower edge, and I'd place the headline directly under the top-text. All this to create more balance. And; What time does the gallery open?

agree about the concept - cool idea! and also like the choice of font (very progressive).

but dont like the centered shot (works very well standalone, but doesn't in combination with the border / placement of writings)

2 possible solutions: replace the shot by an off-centered one or make the border and the placement of writings more random.
and maybe you could try to apply the pixelation effect on some of the writings aswell (a little smaller & in the bg of course, to keep it legible)

and yes... the time. this fullpower24hour? ;)

hope my bla's not too confusing.

Yeah, arne is right about the typography, even at the top I would leave some more space between writes and the upper edge. If they are important information you can try to make them very evident as your name is (maybe a little smaller) If they're not so important you can make them smaller...but...so, I'm able to valuate my ideas only if I'm doing the thing by myself, so I don't know if my advices can be useful XD However, I like so much the effect of the borders!

I would like to see the small thumbs in the slide format. Like you put slides from film around the picture as frame. I don't like the frame right now as it interferes to much with the main picture... just my taste.

The overall design is very good and works well. I'd suggest shrinking the main photo just a bit in order to increase the width of the black area on the top and include all the text in that area. I'd also add a similar black area on the bottom, slightly narrower to frame your name. This will remove the text from the graphics and result in a neater overall presentation.

If things are kept the way they are for the most part, I would suggest adding more black space above the text at the top, and also put your name in the black border as well, but keep the name at the bottom. No need to place it at the top as the top is already looking a little heavy to me. It's also a little more traditional to have the name at the bottom. The way you have it now, your name doesn't stand out much, but by putting it in a black border, I think it would make it both stand out AND make it more a part of the design.

As for the text in the middle... it's kind of hard to say what to do with it. I wouldn't add it to the top because, as I said, it's already a little top-heavy. There's something about it that just isn't quite right, but I have no solution for it. But it's fine where it is.

And the centered shot is fine, but the not-so centered text at the top unbalances it. If you could rearrange the top text to look more balanced, I think it would be fine.

Just my thoughts.

Why that border with so many pictures? I think it's distracting. There is no need to show so many masterpieces on one poster. The center picture is a great masterpiece, attractive enough to make the people want to see more of that stunning beauty. I suggest to keep the design very sober and don't be so modest Robert, blow up your name a bit.

cool~ i like the pictures at sides, but i suggest that the upper and lower borders should be broadened =)

Love the side-picutres-frame-thingy, really nice, it be a little wider though, I think that if it would go on a little more instead of the black border, that would be great... make the black a strip just top and bottom (i think it might be better is the black on top and bootom where both equally wide)
I think youre name could be a little larger to stand out a little more
The "vystava fotografii" line really draw's attention, which is good, i guess:)

would love to have this poster, to bad i'm nowhere near the Czech Republic, to nick one ;)

few questions...
ok...this will be a poster?
for where?
and are you trying to squeeze all your photos in one?
one thing that bugs me is your faded edges on the small images framing it..
answer the questions I asked and maybe I can help ya
if you need inspiration do a google search for movie posters... its just an idea..

This is i think very crowded. everything looks forcefully placed in the positions. i really thing that the comment of kittkat is really good. Cut down the number of thumbsnails of the pictures. I really am bothered with the flow of the overall poster. The eye tend to get lost by the whole thing and its is very difficult of focus on anything for few seconds.

This is so cool... me likes!

If you have time and the means i would have some photos create the main photo from the bottom to like a 4th or 5th of the way up... like a montage of photos that have the correct color representation till they finally fade into the real photo...

Anyhoot.. me likes!

Awesome poster, maybe the black frame could be a bit more large so the white text is not so close to the border! Great exhibition!

Concept:

Average

Technical Skill:

Average

Impact/impression:

Weak
Pros:
You have a good collection of pictures. nice fonts
Cons:
1. The flow of overall information is not good. the viewer have difficulty to find the start of the poster and end
2. althoungh the fonts are great but the use of it should done carefully.
3. Reduce the number of pictures in the poster. it is adding a sense of chaos.
4. The faded effect is not really going well in this poster.
Overall opinion/feedback:
This poster can really become one of a kind if it is made simple and follow rules of typography.
