awesome. I love the softness. and the background works really well. it really helps bring out a little more photorealism. great reflection in the axe. only thing is i wish there was something more to the boots.... they look like they are started going into a detailed version and then stoped... if that makes any sense...

Nice work Robert. Really great job on the face and I love the DOF. It's so nice that I feel guilty offering a little constructive criticism, but I guess you can take or leave what you wish . First, do they really make axes that short (maybe so...it's a legitimate question)? Second, the pants look a little too smooth. Third, at first I thought the bag was a severed head. I would have the top of the bag flopped over more and tone done the bright red of the tie (maybe even increase the size of the tie and/or change the color). Anyway, as I said, I really like the painting and those are just some suggestions that I think might improve it.
